| What is it to be Goddess? |
| The past fortnight has been interesting in so many ways. Wondering what to write this week, a lot of ideas and inspiration came in… then went again as I flicked from one thing to another. The “shego” kicked in and said ‘there you go again’ ,undecided on many things, overwhelm knocking at the door. Which task do I tackle first as I flittered between various ideas, and when I looked back, realised I was just making myself crazy. Has anyone else felt this way before?
Self doubt came into my head as I contemplated those famous words by Marianne Williamson “Who am I to be brilliant”, then the next most important part “Who am I not to be”.
I wondered what a life of a Goddess really is.. be it a Domestic Goddess, a Business Goddess, a Sister/Mother Goddess among the many faces of her. Then I decided to just let go of all these expectations – not from other people but of myself and just sit quietly and take a few deep breaths… (it really does help to breathe).
Many women (and men too) place such a high expectation of themselves and along the way forget to just breathe. You know, those deep long breaths that help centre ourselves when it all gets a bit much. Try it sisters, it really works.
So now is the part where we let go and just TRUST. Everything is going to be perfect in its own way & in its own Goddess time.
