Hello Goddess Sistars!
Welcome to another Goddess News.
Wow it’s been a busy year and we’ve only just started. What I have noticed through my little coffee breaks and just observing, is just how busy life can be. Everyday we have so many demands on us, from work associates, kids & family even sometimes our friends. That’s life! One thing I’ve noticed, just with myself is that I get so busy that I don’t even think to take time out to just laugh.
You know I seem to find time for others, time for sleeping even time for weeping but to find time for laughter isn’t something that happens everyday…and it should.
Now I’m not talking about a little giggle here and there. I’m talking about a good ole belly laugh. One that gets your whole body moving until your stomach hurts (so good) and the tears come streaming out of your eyes….
I remember a time where my two sisters and I were all together, having a couple of wines and there was something that was said. Maybe it was the wine  but anyway once one starts laughing in a way as if their sides were about to split, it becomes contagious! All 3 of us, had tears rolling down our faces, we could hardly breathe ( well I felt I couldn’t). It felt like it went on for a good 5 or 6 minutes, which is a long time. Thinking back on that now, I don’t even remember what we were laughing about and I’m sure if I asked my sisters, they wouldn’t remember either.
What I do remember was that at that particular time, it was something we all needed. It was a tough time for us.
It was then we probably all realised (well I know I did) that we have to make time to laugh. Because one thing it guarantees, is that it makes you feel so good inside and for that moment, whatever is happening at that time doesn’t need to be pondered on right then.
Of course you don’t want to pick a tough time as the time to laugh. This is something that needs to be done on a daily basis.
Try this…look in the mirror and start to laugh…you don’t have to laugh about a particular thing just do the actions. Feel it in the belly…you’ll find that it will start to kick in just by looking at your reflection. At the looks you give, at the actions you show. Laugh out loud…and then get louder and louder…..( maybe leave a note in the neighbours’ letter box that you’re having a laughing session ) and just have fun with it. You might actually surprise yourself!  I found this little snippet on the internet and it just cracked me up. It may not be very goddess-y but hey, who writes this newsletter! )
